Moving Mountains makes a collection of jewelry and gifts that incorporate messages of inspiration to inspire, encourage, and support women to dream big, empower other women, and make the world a better place. Needless to say, I was very excited to collaborate on a project with Moving Mountains. Not only do they inspire, but they donate a portion of every sale to a charity or organization that empowers women.

I was asked to design one of four tank tops for the collection that would all be done by female artists in Ottawa. I was also able to model for these pictures, which was a lot of fun.

Perfectly Imperfect Tank

I was given the phrase “Perfectly Imperfect” for my design. I wanted to do something simple, yet effective and that would get the message across. I wanted the shirt to reflect the company and the mountains. but also be a bit of an oxymoron. The “Perfectly” is written in a typewriter-style, which as we know are not “perfect” letters and that “imperfect”  is a beautifully handwritten font to show that there is beauty in imperfection.
