The Ottawa Maverick Volleyball Club is a competitive youth volleyball club that has been around since 1985. As a former coach, I had the pleasure to continue working with the club from a design perspective.

The Young Maverick program prepares younger kids to join the club with a little bit of background in volleyball. It is a fun and energetic program where the kids are so excited to learn and play that the t-shirts needed to match.

Colour options
The idea that the kids are young, much like a Maverick (a racehorse in the calendar year after its year of foaling), the horseshoe is branding them as a Maverick Volleyball Club member. Taking pieces from Maverick’s official logo, this t-shirt design encompasses volleyball, the Mavericks, a sense of belonging to the club, and a punch of colour for the wonderful program that they run.
